If a good character study is the thing you're in the mood for, this is a movie for you. Of course my daughter was bored but I guess my advancing years and living throught the Truman Capote era I found it very interesting. I do find I'm tired of seeing movies about real people. Doesn't anyone have a good story anymore

I'll have to see 'Capote', my brother liked it too...and I remember the movie 'In Cold Blood' well, it was amazing (of Capote's work I've only read a few short stories and 'Breakfast at Tiffany's').
Have you seen 'The Matador'? I loved it (very dark but very funny) but I haven't seen if Pierce Brosnan got nominated for an Oscar...probably not or I'd have heard.
I should probably google the Oscars and see who was nominated.
