unfortunately, i have to return to work in about half an hour, so this will be quick, i guess. last weekend (not this last weekend but last last weekend) i went to austin for the austin city limits music festival, and it was AWESOME (in parts). it was 3 straight days of being outside in 90 degree weather, but i did get to see the roots, solomon

Hi Saul,

I miss your entries like I miss sex..and I miss sex..let me tell you!!! I too saw the new John Waters movie..get this..with my family for my dad's 60th birthday celebration...I did find myself laughing quite a lot..But I thought it was not up to par with the golden age of John Waters.. i.e. Pink Flamingos. I think he was trying really hard to recapture the spirit of his earlier movies but he didn't succeed..I mean how many times can we watch people get a concussion during a movie and still be impressed?

that's crazy that you saw it with your family for your dad's 60th birthday celebration parade. did your dad think the same thing about it not being up to par with the golden age? i agree with you, but i LOOOOOOOOOVE tracy ulman. i'm sorry about you missing sex= happy belated birthday, kid.
