On an entirely different note, there's a little 30 minute documentary type show on HBO called "I have Tourette's but Tourette's Doesn't Have Me" that is really very good. There is a kid in Jacob's class that has Tourette's.

I have to comment, because you touched on one of my biggest pet peeves about public perception of the US government.
The United States of America is not a democracy. Our country was established as (and is still structured as) a democratic republic, which is actually a different animal altogether.
In my honest opinion from what I've heard I think that it's might be scare-mongering, though I haven't seen the film myself...sure, our system has problems, but so does every other. And if you compare our system to that of other electoral governments (Mexico, for example

Oh, it's certainly scare-mongering to a certain degree. The film is full of all sorts of speculation and rumors about rigged election results, circumstantial evidence and just plain exaggerations. But isn't that the case with most documentaries these days? I guess that kind of films are easier to sell than the ones where they actually try to cover all the angles and not just going for the sensational stuff
