After that whole spell bloody head wound shower deal that we will tell no one about, I decided to check on Wesley. I had gone down in the lobby and it appeared that Angel and Faith had left, or something. No one ever tells me what's going on around here until it's too late and I'm bleeding from some octopus looking memory messing with demon thing. ( Read more... )

Taking a shower was getting easier. Sure, it still hurt, but it wasn't as bad as... How long ago was that anyway? Still seemed like yesterday to me. I suppose it'll seem like yesterday for a long time to come. I leaned my hands against the wall and stared down my body. Still bruised, still burned, but... Better. At least I could move around without looking like a bloody eighty year old. Confused, I looked up when the shower curtain suddenly moved somewhat ( ... )

I smirked as Wesley streaked across the hallway holding onto his towel so tight I'm sure he just about ripped it off in fear. I heard the door slam and I just couldn't help myself, I started laughing. Here was this uptight British man who I'd nearly died with afraid that I might see him naked, when in all actuality I just saw a little leg. What? Is this Amish porn? I rested my arm along the back of the couch and drank my water, waiting for him to emerge dressed and probably blushing bright red. I would do my best not to tease him, but of course I so would. Where would the fun be in not teasing him ( ... )

I took me some time to compose myself, and then find out that Dennis had either been moody or thought he'd been funny. Since my clothes were nowhere to be found. "Very funny, Dennis," I muttered, "again." slowly sank down to my knees and peered under the bed. Bloody marvelous. Cordelia was in the other room, I had nothing but a towel and the ghost who's supposed to be your friend had hidden your clothes. Only me ( ... )

I smiled at him as he told me anyone could have done that spell, he was babbling and blushing slightly. Just like him to deny credit where credit is due, but I knew better. He had done a good job, without him who knows where I'd be right now. Maybe locked up in a looney bin screaming about things trying to kill me, Angel and Faith right beside me. I glanced up as he asked if I was okay, his glasses floating to him courtesy of Dennis ( ... )

I looked over my shoulder as he asked if we should go see if the woman was alright. I figured we probably should, but considering what we've just been through? I had to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to another kidnap session. I glanced at Wesley and let out a sigh, climbing off the bike and pulling the pink helmet off. I set it down on the back of the bike and glanced around, no weapons. Great, this was going to go well. Head injury number two, coming up ( ... )

Getting off the bike myself I glanced at Cordelia as she took off and ranted. I raised an eyebrow at that. As though I'd let anything happen to her again. I wasn't about to make the same mistake, I wasn't about to let her get hurt again. If I thought I'd get away with it, I'd tell her to go back in the house and go see what the screaming was all about. Just to make certain Cordelia was going to be save. Dennis would keep the door closed for me. But I somehow doubt I'd get away with that ( ... )

Wesley then had me by the elbow and was pulling me away from this screaming woman who so needed our help, what's the what? I pulled my arm away from him as the screaming got louder and then? Then I heard some guy grunting and I had to let out a laugh. Wesley pulled me to the bike and his face was beet red, oh god this was priceless. This is what I needed right about now, something to make me laugh despite the fact we were both standing out in the dark where things normally ate things like us. But man, this was too good to be true ( ... )

There's no need to see my face, I know what my bloody face looks like. And if she's stop laughing long enough, I can get the bloody stake back. Scowling, I finally managed to get it back and muttered under my breath while I put away the weapons. Dammit, why can't I ever get lucky. Errr...Not like that. Well...no, no. I mean, why can't I ever save someone. I guess it's just not my stars, or something rather ( ... )
