Second day of diet

Well, not sure if I'd really call it a diet, rather, making myself much more aware of what I am putting inside of myself.

I've reduced my consumption to about 2000 calories. Before I ate my dinner about an hour ago, I had eaten maybe 600 calories: an oatmeal bar, a diet drink, a can of coke, some carrots, a big cup of coffee, and a cookie. All ( Read more... )

I'm really proud of you. It's very tough. I went down to 1,200 calories a day two months ago and lost 20 pounds. Haven't stuck with it, though, but at least the weight has stayed off.

Have you tried MyFitnessPal.com?

I use it...infrequently, but when I do use it, it's very helpful. I like that it can synch to my heart rate monitor and my Fitbit. It pulls the exercise data and then makes calculations based on what I've eaten.

There was a quick guide I've seen online that tells you what healthy foods you can eat to stop bad food cravings.

Transitioning from a crappy diet to a healthier one can be tough. The times I've managed it I eventually found that I didn't even crave the unhealthy foods. But it can be easy to backslide.

Still, I'm with everyone else here... excellent news!
