Ideas on leg-lifting?

So my Siberian Husky and I went to a Humane Society fundraiser yesterday where we met a beautiful "Husky" available for adoption (I'd bet money she's a Siberian Husky + Alaskan Malamute mix, TBH). My first thought is hip issues, my second is foot injury. Has a vet looked her over thoroughly?

I would assume so. I'm fairly certain that it's standard practice at most shelter's to be vet-checked upon arrival. I was going to call the shelter director later today (who was kind enough to exchange cell numbers with me) since the volunteer wasn't able to answer all of our questions last night. I (mentally) kicked myself later for not picking up her paw and looking for a rock/thorn.

I'd go with foot injury/problem... I adopted Ranger with his messed up foot, and he'll pull it up for no reason.
