Now that everyone's done having their fun, I'm just going to air out my complaints.

I don't understand why sundials went out of style. They were quiet, simple, effective, and a Grecian knew her way around one without having to ask anyone what all those numbers mean. But I'm going to stress on how quiet they were. Now every clock has to tick and... ( Read more... )

The ticking has quieted down since my brother arrived and I notice it even less now with the cats we adopted.
