First chapter of Old Rebel Yeller. The boys have fun at Civil War reenactments while chasing down a ghost and a possessed family dog. SIGH. I love Charlottesville. And you're so right...it's Bodo's. We were on a road trip and I just about fell on my knees and worshipped the place, I was so ready for a bloody bagel (I like pulled pork as much as the next person, but, you know. Enough.). I did not, however, remember that they don't toast bagels. But at least they know what bagels are.

My particular favourite place in that neighbourhood, however, is Schyler (or however you spell it), home of the Walton's Mountain Museum, which is one of my favouritest museums in the Whole Wide World. I love it to bits.

Aren't you SWEET? Yeah, someone tell Kripke I'm available! LOL. I know NOTHING about writing screenplays. I'm such a long fic kind of girl. I think screenwriting would drive me bananas. But a Civil War reenactment would be SO COOL. And creepy!

Okay, I finally found time to get this read. Enjoyed it evah so much (that's me being all Southern belle, there). This is some kind of connection you've got for the war re-enactment peeps. Pretty cool. But there was a lot of other cool stuff I liked too.

The swearing dog - I love me some swearing, canine or otherwise and this little doggy has it down.

Enjoyed Sam's point of view in this part - all trying to figure out what Dean's covert ops is all about. Also restless Dean - totally spot on for him.

You're very welcome -- I totally enjoyed writing this story, loved doing the research, loved writing Dean as a possessed dog. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it.
