HIIIII! Hello hello hello, where have you been?! *snuggles!*

Ooooh, news? Not just news, but maybe-possibly-kinda-sorta good news?! What is it? Tell me tell me! *boings*

... I may have overdone the sugar this afternoon... >_>

Despite your sugar intake, I cannot say anything. Because it's a clear case of Sir Jinxalot meeting Lady Bad Karma. However, anything to provide me with a reason to peek into other people's LJs is totally awesome.

My own interest lately has been sliding firmly into Grimm territory. (And Justified. Ohh, Raylan...) There's just something about those damned lawmen.

Raylan makes my heart sing. And I have a huge crush on Gutterson. Who's writing me some good Gutterson?

Hi you! Long-time-no-see! Look forward to your good news. As for me, not much going on here. My LJ has been dead-dead-dead, maybe because I haven't finished writing anything in a while, though I work on stuff still. I find myself spending more time on Tumblr these days.

I was wondering if people had moved on to a preferred location. More time on Tumblr? Is it social enough? I miss being social and whatnot.

It's sort of antisocially social.

Which is all I have time for with my job, but I do miss social-social.

Bwahaha. I hear you. Like sitting by the side of the pool, foot in water, saying, "noooo, I didn't bring my suit." Sooner or later, I guess you either have to go back inside or whip off all your clothes and go skinny dipping.

OMG. Yes, I just said that out loud.

EVERYTHING.

A lot of it anyway.

Crossing fingers for your news.

You have been up to everything? All of it? That's truly staggering. What's everyone watching? If you could give me a précis of fandom in the last 12 months, what's it been?

Well, mostly I've had a lot of personal real life things happen. Fandom is still fandom, Myself I've gotten heavily into the updated Sherlock series from the BBC, which I very much recommend. I haven't finished watching season 7 of Supernatural yet due to the real life things and work etc, but I intend to as soon as I get time.

ficwriter1966 has started a comm for the lighter side of Supernatural that's going gangbusters, spn_bigpretzel. I don't frequent large swathes of Supernatural fandom communities and forums due to avoiding spoilers, so I can't provide any intel on the general overall view of the fandom, other than it's probably the same wonderful bunch of insanity it always has been.

I hope all the personal RL things have been ok. Or, okayish. I've been hustling for contracts lately, which is a bit of a bitch and sucks all my time. And the original fiction thing is all high highs and low lows. Hopefully to stabilize soon.

Ah, yes. Mr. Cumberbatch. Have you seen those photos where he's matched with a similarly-expressioned otter? Hi-friggin-larious. I am very taken with Game of Thrones, disappointed-but-still-watching The Killing, in love with Mad Men, and eagerly awaiting Newsroom next week.

I haven't quite finished season 7, I confess -- Friday night just doesn't work for me, not that I have such a lively social life but still. FRIDAY. Looking forward to next year's change.

I suppose it could be, but it's not really set up to be terribly social. Mostly, I just enjoy browsing the pictures. You can see what I mean here: http://novembersguest.tumblr.com/ But, some people find ways to be social. I think LJ would be easier, though, since there's not "comment" function. To add your own thoughts to a blog, you'd have to reblog. I don't know where people have gone. Some journals are still fairly active, but definitely not mine and I've heard others say the same.

I think I replied in the wrong place. :(

You replied in exactly the right place because I understood what you were saying, so that makes everything okay and as it should be. Tumblr looks a lot like Pintrest, frankly, though I'm sure there are lots of differences.

Oh, and now all the soccer players are taking off their shirts.Yes, I'm that distractable.

Yeah, it is similar to Pinterest except it can be used to blog (text, video, music, whatever). LOL, I understand totally--but distraction can be a good thing, right?

In the case of half-naked Euro players, distraction is a good thing.

Welcome back! It's great to hear from you again - hope everything goes well and you will soon have good news. :-)

As for me... I've done a long stint in KAT-TUN fandom over in the peculiar world of sparkly dancing boys (aka Japanese boybands), and have now moved on to the wonderfully slashy, angsty and passionate relationship of Erik Lehnherr and Charles Xavier in X-Men: First Class. Their love is - well, yeah. Pretty much totally canon. ;-)

OMG, sparkly dancing Japanese boys??? That sounds...well. Unbelievably awesome. Mmmm. Nothing much to not like about Fassbender in, well, anything. Please, Mike, just...yes, just sit there. Trim your nails if you must, or check your tweets. Just, don't go anywhere. I'm calling Mr. McAvoy to see if he's free. Just, you know. To see what happens.

The world of the sparkly Japanese dancing boy is indeed pretty awesome. *g* Here, have a pimp post I did way back when...

There's also a bunch of stories I wrote, if you're interested. :-)

And, yeah. I am very much with you on Fassbender and McAvoy (the latter of whom, btw, answered the question of how he and Fassbender developed such a good rapport by saying "we had sex every morning and that helped", but later revised this by answering to "how many times did you have sex with Michael Fassbender" with "four times" *g*). And Erik and Charles are even more awesome together. :-)

Excellent! Things to catch me up! Thanks! For the sparkly. Everything's better with a Scottish and Irish accent.
