Today was a crap day in work, as I've been suspended depending farther investigation. for what they say is gross professional misconduct or as I call it doing my job the way my manager told me to do the job. Well we'll see where this goes, but as you can imagine not taking this laying down

They say I've been putting customers unnecessary about of time on hold, while placing orders. But its the same way I've been doing my calls for the past 3 years and no one has ever said its a problem.

How is THAT gross professional misconduct on a first offence? If it's never been mentioned before and it's not against the training/job description the I think you should certainly challenge!
