Warnings: Slight spoilers for Zack's early background? He went to Midgar when he was around 13. That's really all you need to know.
Dream Effects: Feelings of calm, yet building excitement.
[It is a sunny day and a young, lanky boy, recognizable as Zack with unruly black hair, is sitting on a cliff, gazing into the distance at a large, industrial mass of a city. Midgar, for anyone who recognizes it. And it's strange, the city appears to be thriving, but there's desert surrounding it.
The boy, however, doesn't seem to notice any of this, just that the city is his next stop, his final stop, on his way to becoming a hero. Man, his folks wouldn't believe how backwater Gongaga is compared to the real city, but he sees it right away. This is the place where dreams are going to come true.
Zack's brief musings are cut short, however, when an older man comes up behind him, telling him to get back in the truck. He's done stretching his legs. Zack smiles widely and stands up, hands on his hips and head held high. With one last look toward Midgar, he makes his way back to the beat up pickup truck and hops into the bed.
He's almost there.]
[Zack is seen smiling in his sleep, a fond smile, full of warm memories. When he finally opens his eyes, that smile remains, though his eyes are a little sadder than they usually are. He doesn't move from his spot in bed, and eventually his eyes fall closed again, back into a nostalgic slumber.]
