Dream 004 - Canon Update

[Yeah. He's just gonna try and pretend that he didn't see that again, this time blasted across the screen of his Dreamberry, from Zack's point of view instead of his own. Nor is he going to mention just how weird it was to see the scene from the view of the dying man, instead of the view of the person who was left in the dying man's presence.

Or how weird and fucked up it was to see himself in that moment. It was different when you were living it, or reliving it as it were, than when you were watching it from someone else perspective.

So he'll just be quiet and shut off the feed as quickly as possible, because he really doesn't think he's the right person to comfort Zack at the moment.]

[Zack's awake now. And even if he were still sleepy after that, he knows he wouldn't be able to just curl back under the blankets and pretend nothing had happened.

Sighing, he runs a hand through his hair and pulls back the covers, making his way into the kitchen. Maybe some tea will help him chill out.]

[Cloud was already in the kitchen, only he wasn't making tea. He was perched on the edge of the counter, fingers curled tightly around the lip as he stared at the opposite wall blankly, Dreamberry laid out on one side, half eaten plate of food on the left.

Bright blue eyes lifted when Zack entered, however, even if he didn't move.]

Couldn't sleep?

[He was okay that Cloud was there. They lived together, after all, and it was perfectly normal to run into each other.

He offers Cloud a small smile that almost reaches his eyes and starts getting the tea ready.]

[For a few moments, attention clearly locked on the screen as it plays the scene though... Aqua isn't sure if this is something real or- But Zack is waking up in the end, just there in his bed.]

[The tingle of fear is lingering, like she's just woken up from an odd nightmare.]
