Dream | 12 | A New Me

***Dream is backdated to last Monday/Tuesday when Rena was supposed to transform back to her original self.
It was a calm spring day in Hinamizawa. The breeze was blowing softy as Rena walked down the dirt road. She was dressed in her trademark white dress and hat and was carrying a small lunch box. Rena soon arrived at her destination, a small white house, and knocked twice on the door. A woman in her early forties opened the door.
"Yes? May I help you?" the woman asked. Rena gave a small bow before answering.
"Hello, my name is Rena Ryuugu. My father and I just moved in across the street and wanted to offer you this as a greeting." she said as she offered the woman the small lunch box. The woman accept the box with a look of surprise on her face.
"Well isn't this sweet, thank you--" the woman paused for a moment as she looked over Rena again. "Haven't I seen you here before? When you were a young girl...Reina was your name if I remember correctly."
An apologectic smile crossed Rena's face as she lightly shook her head. "A-ah, I'm sorry. I think you have me confused with someone else."
"Really? Ah, my mistake. I guess my memory just isn't what it used to be."
After the woman had gone back inside her home, Rena turned around and began her walk back down the street, head held up high.
"That's right, from now on I will no longer be known as Reina. This is the new me. The me that isn't tied down by a cruel mother. Today is the day I start my new life as Rena Ryuugu."

[Rena opens her eyes and sits up in her bed. She looks over herself to make sure she's back to her older self before picking up the dreamberry.]
I-I guess I'm back to my normal self now, I guess. To those of you who met me when I was younger, I'm sorry about the confusion.

And Vincent...I still remember....would you like me to meet you by the church like I promised?
