Once upon a time there was a young girl who lived in a village near the forest. Whenever she went out, the girl would wear a large red cloak, so everyone in the village called her by her nickname, Little Red Riding Hood.
One morning, Little Red Riding Hood decided to go visit her
grandmother, since it had been an awful long time since they had seen each other. Her
mother liked the idea and helped her pack a basket full of tasty food to take to Grandmother.
When the basket was ready, Little Red Riding Hood put on her red cloak and waved to her mother goodbye.
"Remember, go straight to Grandma's house," her mother cautioned. "Don't stop along the way and please don't talk to strangers! The woods are dangerous."
"Okay~! Don’t worry" said Little Red Riding Hood, "I’ll be careful."
But along the way, Little Red Riding Hood noticed some butterflies fluttering around by the side of the road and forgot her promise to her mother. “Haaauuu~!!! Those butterflies are so cute~! I’m gonna take them home~!!” She chased after them for a while, not noticing the dark shadow that was slowly approaching from out of the forest behind her…
Suddenly, a wolf appeared beside her-
“Haaauuu~! Mr. Wolf is so cuuute~!” she squealed, hugging the wolf tightly. The wolf stared at her in pure bewilderment. He was a wolf; he was supposed to be scary!
Quickly regaining his composure, he pushed her off and asked, “What are you doing out here, little girl?” in the friendliest voice he could muster.
“Red Riding Hood is going to see Grandmother who lives through the forest down this path.” she replied happily.
“I see…” the wolf said, a sly grin crossing his face.
Little Red Riding Hood then realize how late she was a quickly excused herself (“Red Riding Hood will take Mr. Wolf home later~!”), rushing down the path to her Grandmother’s house.
The wolf, in the meantime, took a shortcut…
The wolf arrived at Grandmother’s house and knocked lightly on the door.
“Little Red Riding Hood~! I’m so glad you could make it, I was worried you might get lost in the forest,” Grandmother said, thinking that the knock on the door was hisher granddaughter.
As she opened the door, poor Granny did not have time to say another word before the wolf swallowed her whole!
The wolf let out a satisfied burp and then rummaged through Grandmother’s wardrobe to find a nightgown that he liked. He put on one of her frilly sleeping caps and put on some of Granny’s perfume for good measure.
A few minutes later, Red Riding Hood knocked on the door. The wolf jumped into bed and pulled the covers over his nose. “Who is it?” he called in a mock old women voice.
“It’s me, Little Red Riding Hood. I hope I’m not too late, I hope.”
“Oh no, not at all! Do come in, my dear,” croaked the wolf.
When Little Red Riding Hood entered the cottage, she could scarcely recognize her Grandmother.
“Grandmother! Your voice sounds different. Is something wrong, I wonder?” she asked.
“Oh, I just have a touch of a cold,” the wolf lied, adding a cough at the end to prove the point.
“B-but Grandmother! What big ears you have,” said Little Red Riding Hood as she edged closer to the bed.
“The better to hear you with, my dear,” replied the wolf.
“But Grandmother! What big eyes you have,” said Little Red Riding Hood.
“The better to see you with, my dear,” replied the wolf.
“But Grandmother! What big…teeth…you…have,” said Little Red Riding Hood, her voice filled with doubt.
“The better to EAT you with, my dear!” roared the wolf as he leapt out of the bed, cornering her.
Little Red Riding Hood stared at the wolf in fear. It looked like this would be the end of the road for her...before she looked back at the wolf with a strange look in her eye. She reached into the back on her cloak and grabbed a hold of something large and silver. She lifted up the object and--
Two woodsmen who were chopping logs nearby heard a loud cry coming from the cottage and ran towards it as fast as they could.
Coming out of the cottage they saw Little Red Riding Hood, supporting her poor Grandmother who was still frazzled by the whole experience but still in one piece.
“Little Red Riding Hood! What happened? We heard a loud cry and came as soon as we could.”
“A big wolf came and tried to cause trouble for my Grandmother and me but I stopped him just in time.” The girl said with a big smile. There was a bit of red splattered on her face, but the woodsmen assumed it was just from some berries she may have eaten...
After Little Red Riding Hood was done cleaning up the “mess” she had made in Grandmother’s house, the four of them all had a nice lunch together and lived happily ever after.
The end.

Haauu, it feels like Rena has been sleeping forever. And where did all of these Halloween decorations come from?
