Warnings: Child raging!
Dream Effect: Feelings of child like happiness at first and then extreme loathing

There’s an apartment room. A woman with long redish brown hair carrying a brief case is about to walk out the door before a voice calls out to her.

Wait Mother! )

If she did that, it's her fault.

But...if I had only realized sooner what she had been doing, if I had rejected that man from the start, it would have ended there and father wouldn't have suffered.

Sleep tagging is the best way to do it, okay. theignorantfool May 9 2010, 08:16:35 UTC
If you had- ...what?

It doesn't matter. If she's the one who did it, it's her fault that your father suffered. You can't blame yourself for what she did. She's responsible for her own actions, not you.

It is hard to agrue with that, not gonna lie. bigassmachete May 9 2010, 08:28:58 UTC
[Pauses as she lets his words sink in. He did make a good point.]

You...you're right. But back then it was hard not to blame myself. I couldn't help but wonder how different things would have turned out if I had acted differently.

[Though Rita probably can't see it, Rena is now clutching her fists.]

That whore went behind my father's back and was sleeping with that other man while she was still married. Father did nothing to deserve being betrayed like that.

[That is definitely not the reaction she wanted to hear to her dream. Turns slowly to look over at the dreamberry]

What's so funny I wonder, I wonder?

[ There's a distant look on his face, and he pretty much contemplated heading over versus calling. ]

Nothing was your fault.

[Do it Oz, do it!]

I should have realized what was going on though...if I had rejected that other man from the start mother wouldn't have continued with her affair.

[ DO NOT TEMPT HIM ]

That's not true...

You didn't know, Rena. [Quieting] You can't change how people act and think.

[ /tempt tempt tempt]

I know...I know. It's still hard to stop myself from thinking about the possible outcomes that could have happened if I had acted differently.

...No I...I think I'm alright.

Come over?

....Yes, I think I would like to, I would. [Maybe spending time out of the cottage would get her mind off of things.]
