Help Needed!
Right I want help with my drama performance:
Character: The Knight
Stimulus: The film Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Performance focus:
Create a solo performance based on the character of one of the ‘Knights who say Ni’ from the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In an attempt to convince King Arthur that the Knight should become a Knight of the Round Table, he recreates
Theatrical conventions: Caricature, exaggerated movement
Dramatic elements: Rhythm, sound

- heroic deeds he has performed while being a Knight who says Ni
- ways he assisted Merlin with the creation of Stonehenge
- plots he has overheard from King Arthur’s courtiers that suggest that all is not well in Camelot.

Okay if you are interested in what I have so far it's below but first my two questions I pose for you are:
- Things I can do as a Knight for heroic deeds?
- Things that show "all is not well in Camalot"
(Keeping in mind it needs to be silly and humorous).
My thoughts so far:
- My knight is called "Bruce" (How fitting) and that I am going to ;try and portray him as MP's view of Aussies, as well as add a little more to it.
- Starting off by cutting down a tree with a herring... some talk about squashing fathers Shrubbery and will prove himself worthy by becoming a night of the round table. Herring doesn't work and so gets fed up and cuts down tree with sword, waits for crash but there isn't one so says "Mustn't have been anyone around"
- Ride to Camalot while singing the HG theme. Once there yell;g'day instead of Hello and ask for an interview and use silly had gestures to illiterate the point
- once inside comment on cardboard doors, then introduce self and some comment about "Ecky-ecky-ecky-ecky-pikang-zoop-boing-goodem-zoo-owli-zhiv" not being scary enough.
- hand over forms, all ;filled in and random signings and then points out heroic deeds.
- Heroic deed 1: Huff and Puff and Blow the French Taunters away! (Either by acting it or silly hand movements... haven't decided)
- Plot in Camalot 1: Lancealot is using his Lance-a-lot... Wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more!
- When it appears that all is going to fail, try and call on Merlin to repay a favour.... helping him build the "Giant's stones". Tell Arthur that I carried the stones but then show using a crane. On a break gonna ask Merlin what it's for. "To baffle the English race for Centuries to come, but it serves no other purpose"
- Merlin will then have a Vision of "An island where English descendants will all be called.... Bruce!"
- After all this fails to satisfy then comes the begging and grovelling
- after that "I never wanted to be one of your silly knights anyway! I always wanted to be...... a Lumberjack!"
- The end.
