Title: An Unexpected Continuation of “Life Again”
Author: Redeim
Genre: meh
Pairing: GDTOP
Rating: PG-ish
Summary: GDragon is happier now, and TOP has finally fallen for him. Some stressful incidents bring back some memories he’d rather avoid. Definitely a “must read the previous story first” sort of sequel; and takes place a month after the end of “Life Again.”

GDragon looked away as his hand balled into a fist, clenching his sleeve tightly. “YoungBae…” He started, his voice feeling detached from his body.
“I thought you were through with this.” The older one growled. “I thought you were done with this!” He yelled. He got the attention of TOP, who peeked out of the bedroom door.
“What’s going on?” TOP asked, as if saying “Why are you harassing my boyfriend again?”
“Look for yourself!” TaeYang yelled, pushing GDragon to TOP, storming away from the hallway.
TOP looked down at GDragon expectantly. The young leader in question lowered his gaze and bit his lip.
“What is it?”
“I just… can’t handle this.” GDragon replied softly.
“What can’t you handle?” TOP asked patiently, seeing the boy’s fragile state.
“Everything,” The leader replied in a whisper.
“If you keep it up, this time…” TaeYang started when they were alone on the couch later in the day. “I won’t hesitate to take you back to that psych ward.” He threatened, hoping it would make his friend stop.
GDragon shivered, curling into himself tighter but remaining silent. He nodded to show he understood.
“Do we have anything today?” TaeYang asked, slightly curious.
GDragon kept quiet for a bit longer before replying, “Individual things.” His voice sounded hoarse.
TaeYang turned to his best friend, “I’m not going to tolerate you cutting. I let it go a month ago, but now you have no reason. You had no reason the first time, either.”
“I wish you’d stop caring so much. I’m not trying to kill myself.” GDragon muttered.
“There are safer things you do to relieve stress; drawing, writing songs, being an idiot. But cutting has not been one of them in almost six years. I don’t care what you’re trying to do with it, I want you stop.” TaeYang demanded evenly.
With an unexpected attack from TaeYang a week later, GDragon was forced to reveal he hadn’t stopped.
“What is wrong?” TaeYang asked, frighteningly calm as they waited for their turn in front of the camera.
“Nothing,” GDragon replied a few moments later.
“Then why?”
“I like it.”
TaeYang stood up, grabbed his friend’s arm harshly, and pushed him out of the studio.
“What are you doing?” GDragon cried.
“Let’s go.” TaeYang responded simply, calling for a taxi.
GDragon’s eyes widened as he saw where they ended up. “TaeYang… no… please.” He cried desperately.
“I called Dr. Lee a week ago when I first noticed you started again. She told me to keep a close eye on you, and to try to get you stop on my own. But you won’t, so I’m bringing you to her.” TaeYang explained.
“Umma… sshi?” GDragon asked, his desperate escape temporarily forgotten as he tilted his head to the side, the shine in his eyes returning a little.
TaeYang nodded, pulling GDragon out of the taxi.
“TaeYang… Let me go, please. I don’t want to go in there.” GDragon cried.
TaeYang turned around suddenly. “I warned you. I tried to help you. I told you I would send you back here.” He started, then seeing the younger man’s features, his own face softened. “I don’t want to put you through the worst part of your past, but that man is not here anymore. Dr. Lee assured me you’d be taken of properly, and she will be your only care provider. I don’t want to see your hurting yourself, JiYong. Please, do this for the band, for TOP and me.” He asked, gently tugging on the leader’s arm.
GDragon still fought, but remained silent.
Once inside, GDragon couldn’t help feeling sick.
Dr. Lee smiled as she saw the boys, and she came over to them. “I can’t say I’m glad to see you back.” She joked lightly to GDragon.
He smiled softly, his face pale as he looked around. He realized it was his first time really seeing the lobby. When he came the first time, he had been knocked out; and leaving… He hadn’t seen anything.
He numbly signed the papers to put him back into the place he hated, and Dr. Lee brought him into a shared room. GDragon glanced at his new room mates, a boy about his age, and then a younger teen probably about 16.
Dr. Lee patted his shoulder, and he jumped, shaken out of his gaze, “All the private rooms are full right now, otherwise we’d give you one. But I think you’ll enjoy the shared rooms better.” She smiled at him. “I’m glad to hear you’re doing so well otherwise. I’m sure you’ll get out of here soon and you can return to your band.”
“Where’s TaeYang?” GDragon asked numbly, noticing his band member was no where to be found.
Dr. Lee thought a moment, “He said he was going back to your manager to explain what’s going on.” She explained. She pointed to one of the boys, “This is Jung Haneul, and the young one over there is Kim JaeKi.” She explained. “Haneul is interested in music, you two may have a lot in common. Boys, this is Kwon JiYong, be nice to him.”
