Do you still have a story? Would you still like to write a story, or make art or an FST or something else cool? I'm thinking...maybe after the first of the year?

I mean, I have six thousand words of something sitting here, I can't be the only one...

Well the original deadline didn't work for me so I had to drop out, but if it's going to be more like Jan/Feb, I could certainly aim to finish something! I still have this goal of writing more than 10k in one fic (I know the minimum is 15k but hey if I can manage over 10 I can probably manage 15).

When were you thinking first drafts were due? That's the kicker for me. Unless my definition of draft is wrong - it's like the complete but unbeta'd fic, right?

It doesn't have to be the complete fic! With my WK big bang, I had a couple of [[BIG ACTION SCENE GOES HERE]] notes so my mixer could figure out the plot -- really it's just 'yes, I have a handle on this' and something your artist could work from. I think we were thinking January for the draft date (and yeah, actually that extra 5K comes easier for some fool reason).
