I might be on the verge of a writerly emotional breakdown for reasons unrelated to my Big Bang but that might hinder my getting the final draft in on time. May I request an extension of a few days just in case I need it? Hopefully I won't, but I figure it would be better to warn you today rather than try to explain myself several days from now.
