I enjoyed it, probably because I went expecting the worst. I gave up going to the cinema years ago. People can't be quiet or sit still and the films always seemed to disappoint. The films I do like (usually documentaries) I can always rent/buy and watch at home.
But the audience were great, I enjoyed the 3D, I didn't find the utter banality of the story too offensive as I didn't anticipate anything different...and I was able to enjoy a good whiskey while I watched.
3D will only be the future of film if they force even more films not designed for a young audience off the circuit.
