What's going on?

I have neglected LJ for a few weeks, and I find myself missing it mightily. And now I hear rumors that it's in crisis. I feel I have been disloyal, giving in to my ADD, etc. But I would be crushed if LJ went away.

It's not going away, but apparently the Russian government ain't too happy with LJ, and is organizing attacks via infected Pee Cee's.

I haven't written on LJ in weeks, except for the other day to say that I'm thinking of closing my account, because I spend more time talking about my life -- or saying goofy things -- on Facebook. Main difference is that it's easier on LJ to make actual blog postings -- long-form.
LJ has been having problems in the last several days on my end -- not loading pages, etc.
