Congratulations, guys!! I'm very happy for you! Kudos for your persistence and waiting for the karma to react. It works out, and it's wonderful!!

In two days, is the 2 year anniversary of when I first laid eyes on hubby Dell. *bambi eyes*

I can't speak for Greg, of course, but persistence really had nothing to do with it, actually. I tell Greg all the time that I have had many relationships where persistence and determination was what kept those relationships going when many other things were against us but with Greg, it has been really easy.

When I get pessimistic I sometimes think that the shoe must be about to drop, that something will go horribly wrong because it has all been too easy and too comfortable and somehow that doesn't always feel right.

But most days, I just enjoy it and marvel in the fact that after 3 years, we can both still get all mushy and teary eyed over the simplest little thing. For instance, just read his response below.

Congratulations to you guys as well, I wish you and Dell every happiness I've found with Greg.

Awwww! You made me all melty inside.

I love you so much.

(Not to be contrary but I thought three months later we started going steady. We did some dating between Jan 17 and March 14, right? :)

Alright, Biotch! Always there to correct me, as usual. (For those of you who don't know us, I am kidding)

That was what I meant when I said we had been "officially dating" as opposed to hooking up for sex and hanging out, which, yes, is also called dating but not officially dating

Yeah, I've been missing it too. This is mostly demonstrated by the fact that we don't go to any other bars anymore.

Oh well, Those were the Days, My Friend . . .
