If I didn't already have standing plans....

Of course, with my finances the way they are at the moment, I really shouldn't be thinking about trying to start a business anyway...

*hugs*

Ah, but that's the best time to start a business.

Of course it will be all baby steps and bootstrapping, but it could bring in a small income, which would help.

Pick 5 of your zoo animal images and offer them as prints on Etsy. Total investment, $1.00 and some of your time.

Then tell everyone about your prints. Announce it on LJ, FB, and Twitter.

If someone buys, then you can take $1.00 of the profit and list another 5 images. Leave the rest in paypal until you have enough to buy a backdrop.

The problem with that is that I only have the one print I made. I cannot create any more as all the digital data is gone. I have not rebuilt very much yet.

Or are you saying to post on Etsy the prints I have already made? It sucks that I have to take pictures of my pictures to post them.... *sigh*

Bugger, I forgot about the hosed hard drive. Sorry.

If you have a few prints, scan them in and post them. Because you don't have the electronic files any longer, make sure you talk about that in the listing. It makes them very limited and therefore worth more. Also, a good story sells more.

Looks like a nice day at the zoo is in your future. In the meantime, you can list a couple of the flowers and fungus pics.
