-In the dead of night, those living on the western end of town can hear a great comotion in the forest and a deep grumbling. Looking out in that direction, cast in moonlight, anyone can clearly see that a particularly tall tree has suddenly sprouted up in the middle of the forest. What on earth could have caused this?-

Oh nothing particularly dangerous. Just a giant tree.

Oh it just sprouted up right beneath me. I never knew I had such a green thumb.

If it's under your feet, then wouldn't it be a 'green foot'?

Ah ha ha! Green foot! I'll have to remember than one when telling this story later, I think.

I hope you're better at telling stories than you are at climbing.

Oh a great many! Legends, fables, and even true anecdotes!

Are you going to be stuck there for a long time, then?

Because if you tell me a story, it'll make the time go faster.

A really interesting one. Even better if it has a dragon in it. Or maybe a candy house.
