They're rebooting Homeland, which sounds interesting. But it's hard for be to believe Carrie running around the Middle East with her blonde hair being an effective undercover agent!

I've heard great things about Penny Dreadful and everyone keeps telling me I'd love it, but I don't get that station. I have a feeling I'll be mainlining it once it's available on DVD or Netflix.
I'm with you on SoA. I used to watch it regularly, but it just got so, SO dark. I still read the EW recaps just so that I know what's going on but I can't bring myself to watch it any more. The acting is phenomenal, the writing is tight, but it's just too much for me.

Yeah, SoA just sounded too grim for me. Yikes, burned alive? Pass. I like dark shows, but as I get older I find I'm drawn to it less. And with all the characters being criminals, who am I rooting for? Meh. What happened to Tara was awful! And I imagine there won't be a happy ending for anyone!
