It's been nearly five seasons of happy bliss, but I've officially had my first big argument with The Walking Dead. I *hated* this MSF. Well, Rick was pretty awesome running down NuBob (hey, the dude wouldn't stop!) but the rest of the stuff with Beth? I.Just.Don't.Get.It. And I've seen alot of others who had the same reaction. What was the point? Why give her this storyline, make her character grow up and become stronger and then just randomly shoot her in the head. (It makes no freaking sense that she'd try to stab an armed woman wearing Kevlar in the shoulder anyhow. The head, maybe. The throat, sure. But the shoulder? Er, why

Yeah, I hear you. I feel like the point was that this world is so unfair and...arbitrary, maybe? Like, you can grow and be strong, and then in a blink you're dead. I think that's the why -- that there IS no why. But I do totally understand why you're not buying it. :/
