I'm writing to say goodbye. I'll be leaving as soon as I tie up all my loose ends; I have been here far too long already.

It's not that I don't want to stay. It's just--I need to be somewhere I feel warm, if that's even possible anymore.

I shall miss--well, some of you. I don't quite know where I'm off to, but I'll write when I get there.

What kind of fool sets out without a destination in mind?

Goodbye, Weasley.

You could tag along, you know. If you were utterly desperate and had no other options.

Good bye professor. Good luck. Oh, and thanks for that bit of advice I'm not supposed to ever tell anyone you gave me.

Cheers, Colin. Come and visit sometime.

I strenuously deny the bestowal of any and all advice.

Sure. Maybe I'll come visit with Ginny sometime... just as soon as I figure out where you're going and if Professor Snape is going to be there...

You're safe now, Colin. He no longer has the ability to take points from Gryffindor.

You'd just better write, son, and write often -- or else you'll have your Mum to answer to!

Of course, Dad--endless scrolls of letters. Assuming, that is, that Mum sends toffee pudding in return.

Love you too, Gin, lots.

Promise you'll come and visit. Don't let Mum tell you it's too dangerous or unladylike or anything else.
