Shawna stared up at him for a moment in confusion and tilted her head to look at him. She looked around him at where Annja was sitting up in the bed and then she looked back at Sean. Her eyes widened in surprise.

"Ooooooooh." She nodded. "You look just like the picture in Mommy's wallet."

Stana just stood by the door, looking kind of like she wanted to just run out into the hall and keep on running. That other girl was hugging her mommy and it wasn't fair!

Annja saw the other little girl hanging out in the doorway and she extended her hand to her. She didn't like seeing any kid looking so sad and unsure.

"Do you want to come in?"
