Sean was still vaguely amused that he had asked Annja out on a date. But his line of thinking -- one she apparently agreed with, considering that she'd said yes -- was that they'd been involved in the alternate Fandom, heavily so, and that while circumstances were very much different it might not be an entirely bad thing to give the dating thing a ( Read more... )

Annja was suitably impressed. For a first date -- or any date -- she had never seen someone go all out like this.

Ever since talking to Sean -- and Savannah -- about how things were between them in that alternate world, she had been curious if things would work like that for them if they weren't in danger every day. "And I figured that even if there's no chemistry between us tonight, at least we'll be spending the time doing something fun." He gave her a shy, vaguely nervous smile.

She really thought he was sweet and handsome, so there was a start. His shy smile made her heart flutter a little, too.

"Are you worried that we won't have any chemistry between us?" She asked with a smile.

Which, really, valid concern.

He smiled again a moment later as they were led to their table.

She took a drink from her glass. "Let's go for a walk. It's a beautiful night and it's good company."

"All right, then," he said as he stood, holding out a hand. "A walk it is."
