i realize that many of you were disappointed in my last journal entry. you had the right to be. i went several months without posting, and then, out of the blue, i wrote a paragraph of contrived drivel. unfortunately, i have nothing of any importance happening in my life, and i probably never will. i would like to officially retract my last post,

You should write one long post and then post only one or two words of it a day... like you were the Charles Dickens of the online journal community. Everyone would wait with baited breath to see what your next word would be.

"Is it going to be 'the?'"
"No, I'm pretty sure it's going to be 'an'."

Then just before you give us the big finish, you die and scholars spend the rest of their lives wondering just what it was you were going to write last.

Then my friend, then, you will be immortal.
