There isn't much much news to report yet today.

He apparently went through the surgery yesterday as well as can be expected. As far as we know he is beginning the long journey of recovery.

As far as we know he is still in surgery.

We know that he is the only member of his patrol to survive.

A laptop is being purchased today to send down to Texas so that when he is up to it he will be able to communicate with people. That may not happen for a while...
