Wow, haven't updated this in TWO MONTHS!!! Since Sep 20th. Yea, that's kinda why I want a tumblr... but I don't know anyone on tumblr and tumblr is filled with nothing but fangirls and porn anyway. :P ( Read more... )

It's unfortunate that the system is rigged the way it is, but unless you have an attorney with you, or unless the officer was clearly in error, the judge has to side with the officer. You really need an attorney to fight these shades of grey cases.

I beat a ticket once in court, but I won because the police officer was clearly wrong. At one point at this intersection http://goo.gl/maps/zGCzu u-turns were made illegal and then made legal again a few months later. The officer hadn't realized that the signs at the light had been changed back.

Sorry the arrow in the link doesn't point to the right place. The light is at the intersection of Rt 18 and Ferry Road; I made a u-turn from 18 South to 18 north at the light.
