im extremely excited to be recording a sort of epiphany i had tonight....a realization of sorts about growing up. i don't have any profound statement that i have just now understood or come to recognize, i'm just okay with growing up

Stef, you seriously hit the nail on the head with this one! I feel like we're kind of in the same place right now. My non-onstage friends really don't understand how much this summer was truly weird for me, and how I really do feel like it was a big step. I was at fridays yesterday for dinner with my family (i saw jamie too haha but didn't say hi bc he was kinda far away, i was with my family, don't know him too well anymore...yeah. should've said hi though) and i kind of laughed to myself when i realized that later on that night the whole cast would be there. I thought, after 6 years, i still end up at the ramsey friday's on opening night! haha. Ahhh, i totally hear everything you say, especially about the passion for theatre blossoming at onstage. That's like where I learned to love the process of theatre, what it stands for, how it can impact, all of that stuff. Look at us, we're both going into theatre careers, and I honestly think that was largely encouraged by those summers at ihhs and rhs. Oh man. I'm getting all

i feel the same way since i only did crew this summer. at the beginning of this week i was really regretting not trying out and alex even said to me at one point "its killing you that your not out there." but i am perfectly happy to be on the crew and its better because i could do other things with my time :)
