Good luck man. Crossing fingers its not as bad as predicted. Much as I'm tempted to shake my fists at whoever is in charge too, I would knock on a lot of wood before asking what else they want you to sacrifice. Life sure as fuck knows how to kick you when you're down.

Sweetheart, I'm sorry your grandmother is ill, but I don't think it's the Universe out to get you. We are at the age that if someone has Grandparents alive, they are lucky folk.

You are SO strong! You have good friends you can talk to and lean on for support, but you have amazing inner strength. Truly!

Thanks hon, that rant was just the culminated negativity of this past year where I haven't been able to catch a single break in my emotional life. And for this to happen during the Holidays was just the last thing I was will to bare with any kind of dignity. I was so tired of the rug being pulled out from under me, of the things I could count on the most being threatened or flat-out taken away.

I have already lost a lot of people, so I understand it's the age. Doesn't mean I have to like it. And it certainly didn't help the utter shit-fest that was 2012.

But I still have some friends. And I'm still alive. So there's that.
