#28: Predators

Going to see Predators was a bit strange for me. Because Predator landed squarely in that zone of "Now I can watch R-rated movies on the VCR" and it happened to be one of the movies I owned, and as a result I watched the HELL out of the movie. I suppose I like Alien 3 more than most folks; I think that it's ultimately a VERY depressing movie, though. Not only because they kill off a lot of characters we've come to like, but because it has so very little hope in it at all, which is really a different type of movie than the first two. I'll have to watch it again, honestly, to make sure of what I think of it; haven't seen it since I saw it in theaters. And watching it without the pent-up excitement of seeing the third part of a beloved series weighing it down might make a difference ( ... )

Daaaamn.. I like the Alien 3 that might have been way better then I like the Alien 3 that was. What happened!?!

James, I haven't thought about Deadly Friend for . . . I have no idea how long. To be fair to Wes Craven, Deadly Friend is the best robot possession basketball murder weapon movie ever made . . . I think.
