Just discovered that gmail has been helpfully marking lj comments as spam for no reason I can discern. >:( I'm letting the conversations in question lie as it has been a few months for most of them, but this is a general apology to anyone who thought I was ignoring them: sorry about that, I didn't see it.

Ridiculously, gmail has never once marked

That sucks. I hope mine won't start doing this. It already seems kind of confused by the tree default categories it has for sorting e-mails, so I really wouldn't be too surprised if it suddenly decided to start sorting lj comments into spam. (also I make it sound like a sentient being and while Google is scary smart already, I don't think we're quite there yet.)

Hopefully not! I mean, everything I found in it wasn't recent, so maybe it was an old problem that they fixed? The three categories are loathesome though, I had to remove them at once.
