So McCain defied the conventional wisdom and passed over Romney (looks & talks like a used car salesman), Ridge (pro-choice, so the evangelicals would pitch a fit), Pawlenty (who?), and Lieberman (despite his "independent" status and his pro-Iraq stance, he's still with the Democrats more often than not) for Alaska Governor Sarah Palin

Well, at least all those good Religious Right women will be able to stop "running their mouths" long enough to vote for a Wo-man who provides them token representation.

And then they'll get right back in the kitchen and back to feedin' mah babies.

It pisses me off that the Righties want women to stay at home and make babies, but they're willing to support a woman who has a two month old (with Down Syndrome, no less) for vice president. Seriously, being on the campaign trail is more important than being with a disabled baby who needs her?

It gets even better - she's under investigation for trying to get her sister's soon-to-be-ex-husband fired (he's an Alaska State Trooper) and then firing the guy who refused to fire said trooper.

^And that abuse of office investigation is what perked my ears up. Wow, I'd love to have someone like that just a heartbeat away from the White House.

Not to mention the fact that she basically has no experience - she's been governor for 21 months, and before that, she was the mayor of a small town (8000 people).

If, by McCain's argument, Obama is not qualified to lead, then Palin is certainly not qualified to lead.

I'd recommend being even more direct than the whole "wreck" line. I'd just suggest walking into Victoria's Secret dressed in a UPS uniform and whipping it out right there.
