This is very beautiful. I really enjoyed the imagery as well as the story itself. The use of color and the way it repeats and blurs and comes into focus again through the story is lovely. The sensory images you evoke with your words are really incredible. So very glad I read this.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

AHHHHHHHHH.

This is wonderful. You write them SO WELL. The sensory images, the longing, Ginny's struggle with independence and emotion--I mean, it's lovely. Just so lovely. This makes me miss you and your writing so much. Just beautiful, dear.

Because you stare into space like a widow of the water, the card reads in her dad's slanting script. By all means, love with all your heart and live with dreams in your eyes, but my dear, do not forget that you are a long way yet from looking for lost men at sea. We love you, Ginny, and we miss you. was just like -- so ( ... )
