Yay! I'm dabbling again in fic, and migrating most of my LJ fic over to Ao3 after cleaning it up. I figure I'll link any new fic to its home on Ao3 but use LJ posting communities!

How are you and your health? How are your sons and fam?

My health continues to be fairly crappy. I am now on a special diet in the hopes of healing my gut but its slow going.

My boys continue to amaze me. Zachary is now a junior in college. Aaron works for big pharma doing lab automation in their research facility. He might be running the universe in a few years based on how he's doing.

I'd love to hear about your travel exploits. Sounds like it was fascinating.

*waves* Have pretty much switched to HP fandom. If you're interested, I can point you to 1D fics that has them as wizards in the HP universe ...

Oooh, that's fun! I've been cleaning up my old HP fics to repost on Ao3. And oooh, I'm a HUGE fan of 1D as wizards, lmao. I've probably read them all, but yes, do link if you have time and can! Might find something new!!

Linkage first: Englishmen (and an Irishman) Abroad: Five Men in the Same Boat. To Say Nothing of the Dog.... by GMWWemyss, one of my favorite HP authors. Not easy to read, as he's incredibly erudite, but his fics are so quintessentially ENGLISH, it's a joy. IMO, of course. :)

I'm fine; had a gastric bypass in October a year ago, and so far lost 66kg/~150lbs. Naturally, my overall health is much improved because of that. :) Still getting used to being "childless" with my son now living on his own. Hubby is starting to consider early retirement, or at least going on age-based part time -- can't believe he's turning 60 next year!

Fandom-wise, I've slowed down a lot -- I'm still interested, but hardly write anymore. Not that I don't want to, but ... *sigh*

And that's pretty much it. :)
