I woke up from a shit nap this evening in a terrible mood (can't sleep at night, but i spend all fucking evening asleep MISSING MY PRECIOUS HOLLYOAKS and then lying in bed all night thinking about not sleeping) and the midgets one made me actually do a wee from laughing.

Midgets for me goes with my rooting for the underdog thing. They can't disguise the fact they're midgets, but they go about their business because you have to. Go midgets.
But yeah, as freaks, even if not self-elected freaks like my good self, you should never pass up an opportunity to exploit it.
If midgets never did this, I would not have been able to have several quality wanks over peter dinklage (despite him being a dwarf and not a midget). Also, a vital part of trapped in the closet would be gone.

I had no idea you liked sharks.
And as for autistics (my least favourite type of people, incidentally), I believe dan is single, you could help him.

Speaking of midgets, freaks and underdogs, what's your opinion on Diane Arbus? I know you are no fan of photography, but I wondered nonetheless. I know next to nothing of her work, and having just watched 'Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus', I am mildly intrigued. Mostly because it was a bad film, and neither it nor Nicole Kidman managed to convince me Diane Arbus was a worthwhile subject for biography. It's central conceit was that, by embracing her inner freak (and, indeed, by physically embracing another freak) she could find the courage to break out of her boring marriage and start taking photos of nudists and albinos. But who the hell cares why a photographer photographs things?

Sharks rule. Autistics... not so much. Maybe I will help Dan. I could kick the stool out from under his feet.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest. Having only studied photography in a very minor way, I understand that Arbus is one who I'm supposed to appreciate. She shines a light into the souls of us all by showing extremes of humanity and that. however, any art which requires me to study it to form an opinion makes me sceptical.

i think, though, that why a photographer photographs stuff is a major part of the medium. Because poeple can look at anything whenever they want, but to want to preserve that particular thing warrants an explaination in a way that painting doesn't. If that makes sense.
I digress, but, yeah, for a photographer, I get it and all, but I don't really care.
