Yeah I'm fine. I was a complete mess yesterday of course. I'm not one for church going, most of my family isn't, but my Grandmother was relatively religeous, so we did the whole church service thing. I've always enjoyed singing, and she always enjoyed listening to me sing. She was very musical, taught the piano to kids right up to her final year, and taught all of her grandchildren musical skills. I can remember doing vocal scales with her as a kid back when I was a boy soprano. These days I sing bass! It was important to all of us to sing for her at the church. She'd chosen the hymns herself. The first one, a well known one to all of us, I looked at and thought "I can sing this". 3 words in, and I'd gone completely. The second one was frankly impossible to sing anyway - just musically too difficult without a lot of practice, and the third, we all pretty much managed, at least until the last verse that talked about death. I'd like to have done better, but it was the best I could do given the circumstances

She sounds like she was lovely. Church services are always so hard. I tend to avoid them like the plague because I cry like a baby at any and all of them :) I'm glad you've gotten your family back as it were :)
