Day 3 - Rabat

Today has been a very good day.  I was up very early this morning, having been woken up by jet lag and then kept awake by the call to prayer.  This is fine, I sit and listen to our mp3 player and do some sudoku's until Athena wakes up at about 7:30.  While she gets herself ready to go for the day, I make my first foray into Rabat's medina on my own ( Read more... )

Take pictures! If you want to write down the inscriptions and post them or e-mail them to me I'll see what I can do for translations.

Also, as a fellow fan of dead languages, they are not dead, just resting for times like these.

That Old Norse bit is absolutely priceless! Great job.

This linguist fellow must have been thinking - what the HECK was he saying? It sounds almost familiar - but it just isn't anything I know!
