Two posts in one day! This is a record for me. So it's still pi..ing down rain, as my husband would say so here's some pretty flowers to brighten up your day and mine. My daughter left today after an emotional few days with us. She misses her bf and is breaking up with him when she goes to London in 10 days. She was so looking forward to coming ( Read more... )

It's been such a shame that the weather impacted on your daughter's visit and I hope that everything is alright with her flight home. It's so sad to hear that she will be breaking up with her boyfriend, I hope that London treats her well.

You go and have a good time with everyone and what beautiful flowers, but they are not a patch on our....daffodils? Bluebells? Oh bugger it I'm as jealous as hell here. They are gorgeous and you are really lucky you get to see these regulary.

*Hugs*

We have daffodils in Oz which I love. It is a shame about the bf but I don't think they're right for each other. He's not a worker like she is, if you get my drift.

Off to one of the islands tomorrow. Hopefully it won't rain.

My allergies are acting up even staring at my sceen but, seriously, these are so beautiful!

I'm sorry your daughter has emotional problems. They can be hard even if you are in the most perfect place *nods*

Thanks. It wasn't too perfect this time with the rain and floods so I hope this weekend improves.

Beautiful pix. I'm sorry for the problems you guys have had with the weather. I've been busy moving to a new place so have missed the last few days entries on my flist.

Thanks. Hopefully this weekend will improve weather wise. We're off to one of the islands and my son and his bf are cruising around with his sister so we'll be having dinner with them.

What beautiful flowers! I love the water lilies - I think think they're my favorite :-) I also really love the two ginger plants. I think I've seen them in flower stores here, but they're always so expensive. It must be such a treat to have them grow in the wild in some places. I like the flowering shrub in the first picture, too - do you know what it is? The colours are so vibrant, and I like the trumpet shaped flowers. We don't have anything like that up here - the most adventurous we get it magnolias (which are still very pretty...)

Thanks so much for sharing these! They're gorgeous :-) *hugs*

Sorry, I don't know what it's called and the white ones are so unusual. I go home on Sunday so won't have a chance to buy any more this trip.

Well, as usual I am pathetically behind the ball on what is going on around me. I had no idea that Fiji was going through all this trauma, thus causing your happiness at having your kids with you there to be dampened dramatically...to put it mildly. I never heard a peep on our news about the Fiji situation. I am so sorry for all the damage it has caused the people there. I'm just glad that you and your friends and family survived intact ( ... )
