My friend, sasha_dragon sent this to me and it cracked me up. And it's an actual extract. Read and FOYCL. I especially love the last para. Unusual practices? Adjust your clothing? And don't you love the glam shot of the wife in her apron at the clothes line? Sure to turn a man on at any time. LOL!

I tell you this will never get old, I can only imagine what my mum would say about this, after she finishes laughing her head off. And dad would've thought it was hilarious, no way would those two ever been like that. Mum would've smacked dad round the head with a rolled up news paper.

It really makes you proud to be a brit, and very possibly celebrate.

I guess the sexual revolution of 'free love' and 'anything goes' of the '60's that we were experiencing here in America hadn't taken hold in the UK yet...or was this book an attempt to avoid such a thing happening there? LOL! The truth is, I think even men are happier with the way things are now than with wives who follow the example from the manual...or at least 'real men' are! Thanks for a great laugh, Judy. It made my day. Huge hugs, Grammy

It's like something from the 17th century, isn't it? Yeah, well I was at high school in the early to late 60s so kind of missed that. Made my day too.
