So flist here's a bit of quick update on my trip. Currently in Paris till Saturday when I fly to Nice and Cannes.

Yesterday: We are totally exhausted and spending our first night in Paris. Got the Eurostar from London and my ticket wouldn't work. The apartment is very average in the Bastille district in the middle of many restaurants, one of which ( Read more... )

Good idea to stay in tonight and rest up. Don't forget to ice your feet, girl. They will probably thank you tomorrow.

There have been a few photos of Randy. He's in Germany as of late last week.

Have fun. Paris is a fun city. And the Metro is so easy to get around on.

Later!!

We've stayed in both nights because the days have been so huge. A full day tour tomorrow but Friday is ours. David has been the great tour guide and given us a few places to eat at.

Squee for Randy in Germany. Haven't seen any pics yet.

We've had no problems on the metro and I didn't have any trouble in London either. That is apart from the door not opening when I got to my stop and I had to go to the next one and come back.

Sorry, I didn't reply to your e-mail, but yesterday yahoo wasn't very reliable. The pics look amazing and remind me of a very special time I spent in Paris.

Geez - it sounds like you're having "quite" the time there. But still having fun it seems. Veuve Cliquot, eh? Cheers! :)

"and remind me of a very special time I spent in Paris." Hmmm that sounds intriguing.

Off for a full day tour tomorrow to Versailles which I haven't been to and a river cruise and the Eiffel Tower.

Hmmm that sounds intriguing.

It does? He :) One day I might tell you about it. *gg*

Versailles - it's interesting, but a bit too grand for me. Even though the stories surrounding it are sure fascinating. :)

I don't intend to do too much in Nice and Cannes. Hopefully I'll see Nicky in Cannes and I'll be myself so less stress.

Really? I love both of them but haven't done much sightseeing in London yet. No, my daughter goes back to London on Saturday but she's flying to Cologne from Thursday to Saturday next week. She has 3 days off. Then I'm on my own except for the Con and I'm going to visit Yvonne in July then back to London for 2 weeks after that.

Sounds like a great plan.
You should really do some sightseeing in London, esp before the Olympic games ;)
You're going to meet with Vonnie? That's great.

Sounds like your having a wonderful time, despite the broken suitcase, Leanne's foot and the shower curtain ;-) Paris looks amazing! It's been almost ten years since I last went, but this makes me want to go again. (For the Saint Honore, if nothing else ;-) Is it still hot out there? It looks it in your pictures!

It was so wonderful to meet you at last on Saturday! I hope you have a fabulous rest of your time in France ;-) *hugs*
