Why the hell is your mom flying from Dubai to Hong Kong to LA? I would always fly Kuwait - Europe, Europe - Los Angeles. I'm sure Dubai has direct flights to Europe too.

I dont know. Which way do you think is fast though? Going across western Asia, Europe, the Atlantic and the entire US or across eastern Asia and the Pacific? I reckon it might be pretty close ney? How does your flight take usually?

I'm glad the Egyptian ineptitude gave someone else a smile as well :)

Well, lets do the math:

10 hours from Dubai to Hong Kong; 14 hours from Hong Kong to LAX.
6 hours from Kuwait to London; 10 hours from London to LAX.

I'm new to this whole "international flying thing," but, how can a flight from London to LAX take the same amount of time as a flight to IAH, when a flight from IAH to LAX takes 2.5 to 3 hours in itself?

Also, could have been worse, Sama. Instead of "Sorry, no stags," they could have said "sorry, no guys who couldn't get a date." That would have been an "ouch."

So next time I guess you'll just have to break down and call one of those gals you got on ice :)~
