Gaggle of Cities Part 1

Oct 06, 2012 16:21

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this out, but due to general laziness, schoolwork, my desire to update the asylum as soon as possible, and my great-uncle’s death, it has taken me so long to get this out. Anyway, here’s part 1.

Welcome to my WYDC, a challenge by c_squared2 where the rules can be found here. So why is it called Gaggle of Cities? Well, let's just say that the kids will be named after cities in the world, one from a different country.

This lovely lady is Karen Landers, who has the task of having at least 27 kids from different parents (two of them have to be twins). She's a Popularity Gemini with Romance as her secondary aspiration. I put her in a dorm at LFT just so that she can meet up with several other people to add to her contact list.

"Er, what was that again?"

Nothing, my dear, just the fact that you get to have a lot of kids during this scenario.

"Great! When do I start?"

Now.

To start off, I had her greet with this old guy named Joe Graham. He's a garden club member even though there's no garden in the dorm. Whatever. If all goes well, he might end up becoming one of the babydaddies.

Apparently, Karen thinks the cafeteria chef is uncool. Oh, well. At least we have Joe in the contact list.

Finally a Gypsy matchmaker! I must get a matchmaker date to be one of the babydaddies.

The matchmaker date turned out to be this guy named Tyler Fuchs. Apparently, he pissed me off for not giving Karen a dream date and even rang her doorbell at night. If I'm lucky enough, I might kill him off to summon the Grim Reaper.

Eh... who is this guy?

"He's Forest Fossey, and he lives in the same dorm with me. Apparently, he's hot!"

Er, yeah. For some reason, Karen woohooed this guy thanks to ACR even though they have barely met each other. At least he gets to be a babydaddy, though.

Yes! A mailman on her contact list. Here's hoping that they would be friends together just so that he gets to be one of the babydaddies. I'm keeping a careful eye on this guy.

I really need to get Karen into the Secret Society, so I had her befriend this guy (Leif Kamen). He randomized gay, so I won't put him on the babydaddy list. Oh, well. At least he can be used for making friends for the sake of the Secret Society.

And then this guy named Owen Hendrix came along. Apparently, he's another Secret Society member, so I had Karen befriend him. She even has the hots for him, so I might have him become one of the babydaddies. Oh, and notice Leif's expression. XD

And then this witch tagged along. Since I thought it would be cool if Karen becomes a witch, I had her greet the witch in the hopes that they get a high-enough relationship to turn Karen into a witch.

Yet another Secret Society member to befriend. I think I'm having luck with it so far.

Er, yeah. For some reason, I forgot that I'm not supposed to hire service sims of any kind except for the nanny. I guess I just lost points for the no service sims bonus. Oh, well.

"Why, hello there, girl. Care to be my friend someday?"

"Maybe."

Well, I might put Mickey Dosser on the babydaddy list, but who knows.

Awww... Aren't these two cute together? <3 Unfortunately, I can't get them married until Karen's oldest child becomes a child.

"Oh, Forest. Would you marry me and help me raise a bunch of kids even if most of them may not be yours biologically?"

*gasps* "I do!"

Yes! I hope this will be awesome!

And then they woohooed in the photo booth with many in the town watching them.

Oh. I forgot to mention that this challenge is set in Desiderata Valley, hence John Mole in the crowd. :P

At some point, I had Karen meet the slob, whose name is Javier McKellan. I forgot to take an actual picture of them meeting together, but this picture of him smustling should suffice for now.

I wanted Karen to have something to do to make money, so this sewing machine would do. I also want her to make clothes for her family without having to spend more money on usual clothing as usual.

At some point, I installed Gunmod's lighting mod, so this picture is an example of the mod's effects on the game. So pretty and authentic. And this energizer is pretty much a necessity for boosting moods.

When Karen finally befriended the three Secret Society members she met before, this happened. Very amusing. XD

Now that she's in the Secret Society, she better get loot the place dry for extra furnishings in case I wanted to mover her out. I even took the cowplant with her as well.

I'm feeling a bit torn in this situation. On one hand, I want Karen to marry Forest because of his red hair. But on the other hand, she has a great deal of bolts with her potential babydaddies as well. Anyway, I might add this fellow right here (Aaron Wilder) as one of the babydaddies.

Look! Karen's enthusiasm in Arts and Crafts had just earned her access to My Muse II - Arts and Crafts Studio. Awesome!

I decided to put the cowplant on the porch, only to realize that it's a mistake.

Fortunately, I brought the Resurrection-o-Nomitron with her so that I could get a zombie as a babydaddy.

The thing is that the cowplant victim is actually a female dormie named Tao Hickock. Also, she got reverse-resurrected, so I might have to feed her to the cowplant and reverse-resurrect her again. I guess that means both girls are moving out to an empty lot with anything they own.

Here's their humble home. It started out as an empty lot because they were too poor to afford a premade house. I have to admit that I sent Karen to the Secret Society lot first to buy a wide assortment of stuff for this place. Hopefully more cash from the kids will renovate this place.

Apparently, Luis Aspir is Desiderata Valley's resident telescope shover. Kind of a pity, as they already knew her during her trips to downtown. He might as well be the elder babydaddy instead of Joe Graham, though. :P

Since the house is a much safer place to put a cowplant, I put it on the yard. Owen Hendrix gets the dubious privilege of getting eaten by it.

This time, however, he gets resurrected as a zombie. Besides, I need a zombie to serve as one of the babydaddies, so why not? XD

This is just too amusing to be excluded, that is all.

And here he is with a whole new makeover. Now no one will know that he's... unique.

At one point, I took Karen to a restaurant in order to try skipping out on the bill, but I had her call the taxi instead of walking there. When she got caught, this happened. Anyway, this image is both funny and frustrating at the same time. In fact, I would love to kill off this hostess just to summon the reaper and give Karen a reaper kid.

Just a pic to show that Karen just got a gold talent badge. I'm so proud of her.

Er... yeah. Tao used the telescope to look through other people and got scolded by Luis as a result. Grrrr....

And finally, Karen graduated from college with questionable clothes. I need to change it to something else someday, but this would do for now.

Anyway, stay tuned for Part 2, where she settles on to her new life with kids on the way.

"Mmmmmm!!!!!! I wonder this foxy lady would come to any of my businesses someday."

Laugh it up, Mal. *rolls eyes*
