It once happened to me that all my custom objects were flashing blue like that. That turned out to be because the game had decided to turn off enabling custom content when I wasn't looking, and it was fixed when I turned the option back on again.
If it's just that one object/some objects, maybe the game doesn't have all required parts. Perhaps you're missing something like a mesh or recolor the game is trying to use for the object?
If it's not that then I think I'm out of ideas, but in that case I hope someone else will be able to help you!

It affects all the objects that come with a posebox that allows me to pose sims to hold said items. My best guess is that I'm missing a mesh or something like that.
