lots of stuff has been going on... especially since my second to last post.

so i'm going to cut to the chase... there's a good possibility i'm moving back home to san diego.

Aw Meriel, Im sorry its not working out for you, whatever you end up doing Im sure will be the right decision, though I think you should stick it out a little longer. I cant say Ive been in your position, because no matter where Ive moved Ive had someone close to me around (Ian, or my older sister) and so I cant honestly say I wouldnt do the same thing in your situation...

I just know from my moving experiences that Im never happy at first, and it gets better with time.

The utilities thing is ridiculous though, I know it shouldnt be that much!

Ahhh, I hope you work it all out Meriel, you can stay up in SF with me if you want =)

i know my decision seems really frivolous and irrational, but i don't think my mind is going to change. i was totally prepared to wait it out and adjust... but the utilities thing is what kinda pushed me over the edge. the guy from the electric company literally had no desire to help me figure out ways to solve my problem, and i can't afford to spend that much on utilities. oh and i didn't even mention my water bill. curse the state and it's energy and water crisis!!! for about 3 hours on wednesday night i tried to figure out ways to cut costs, but i still kept running out of money. :-P

also, i'm literally surrounded by smokers. on tuesday and wednesday night i had no choice but to open my patio door, because i refused to turn on the money eating a/c and my apartment was filled with second hand smoke. i woke up the next day with my hair smelling like smoke and not being able to breathe out of my nose.

and with all the money i'm saving from not living at the apartment i'm sure i'll finally get to take a trip up to SF. :-)
