First off, Kylie and I would like to reiterate that our wedding is a formal masquerade party. This means that you should wear a suit, a dress, or at the very minimum a button up shirt with the best pair of jeans that you own if you don't own a suit. Your clarifying statement is quite confusing. "you most definately, under no circumstances, not wear a costume" implies that we must wear a costume under all circumstances (due to the double-negative)...

At least the rest is clear enough to deduce what you really mean.

It's still oddly phrased. What's wrong with just using "DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, wear a costume. NO COSTUMES!!!!"

It's understandable. And the reason I didn't go with your phrasing is because I didn't want to come off as a complete insane and over bearing groom and because I think my friends have enough respect for Kylie and I/common-fucking-sense to not wear a halloween costume to a wedding.

Although I'd be interested to know who keeps thinking that we said people could wear costumes and telling other people that they can, but hey...
